• Salary: EBA Level 2.1 ($49.07 PH)
• Location:  1 role based in Altona. 1 role based in Keilor 
• 7am-3pm approx 5 shifts per week until end of March 2025

The opportunity

These roles within our West region involve the upkeep and general maintenance of the cemetery grounds by way of weeding, pruning, digging, raking, mulching, planting, spraying, hedging, edging, blowing, reticulation, mowing.

This work is fast paced, highly intensive and physically demanding and often involves working in adverse weather conditions. Communication, compassion and solid horticulture skills are key to success in this role.

To be successful in this position you will require:

•    Experience in parks and gardens maintenance (or similar), including relevant plant and tool operation
•    Current Victorian driver’s licence (mandatory)
•    Sound understanding of all aspects of grounds maintenance
•    People-focused communication and interpersonal skills
•    Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
